Glock 43x Mos Review 2022 - The Glock 43X is a reversal of the Glock pistols. Glock took the wildly successful Glock 43 pistol and stretched the grip to accommodate the newer 10-round magazine. The Glock 43X became a very popular concealed carry pistol and opened a new market for slim Glock pistols. In this Glock 43x MOS review we will explore the various features.
The Glock 43X recently received a welcome addition in the form of the MOS model. The new Glock 43X MOS is hitting shelves now and is likely to be a huge hit.
Glock 43x Mos Review 2022
MOS stands for Modular Optics System. This rifle is called MOS, but the MOS system for these rifles is very different from the standard MOS system.
Glock 43x Vs Glock 48
The Glock 43X is a very small pistol, so it cannot fit larger red dot sights. This MOS system is for the red dot of the Shield RMSc pistol.
It is one of the smallest red dot pistols on the market and the optical footprint is quickly becoming popular.
This opens up the ability to use the Shield RMSc, SIG ROMEO Zero, SwampFox Sentinel, and Holosun 507k, along with several newer models hitting the market hard and fast.
This isn't the only change to the Glock 43X series pistol, so let's dive in and check out the Glock 43X MOS and how Glock has made the micro-combat pistol a little more powerful.
Glock 43x: Personal Protection Perfection
Although this new little optic has yet to prove itself, it is becoming more and more popular. Especially when you pair it with the excellent Glock 43X MOS holster.
A major change from Glock, the Glock 43X MOS changed the slide color from stainless steel to the traditional black nDLC finish. For the MOS series, the weapons were black, but the MOS series will be exclusively nDLC.
This diamond-like coating is extremely tough and has been proven to last on most Glock pistols. The hardness level is extreme and is doubled compared to the older tenifer finish.
I can't lie, I like the stainless steel finish, and I think it makes the plain Jane, Spartan Glocks stand out a little, but I understand the change.

Stainless steel looks good, but black is less reflective and will reflect less on the lens of your red point optic. The black finish gives the gun a more discreet look and allows it to disappear a little better under the covering clothing.
The frame is a traditional Glock black polymer frame. It's a bit blocky and simple, but looks professional and is precisely shaped. The Glock frame isn't fancy, but it fits perfectly and is well made.
The look of the Glock 43X requires black optics to keep black black. Fortunately, black is the most common color in the world of tactical optics. It will also match your shoes.
The Glock 43X MOS is an ultra-slim and lightweight handgun designed with concealed carry in mind. The G43X MOS has an ultra-short barrel for OWB carry, while the 43X MOS is easy to carry in IWB and AIWB (inside-the-waistband).
Glock 43x Optimized: Customizing The G43x
The overall width is a bit chunky 1.10 inches and the slide width is 0.87 inches. A fully loaded pistol weighs 23.07 ounces. The pistol isn't the worst option, but it's still extremely easy to hide.
The gun is remarkably well balanced, and those of us who want to carry something small and light, but still want full grip, will love the Glock G43X MOS.
Adding optics will change the height and overall weight of the rifle, but not significantly. The modern micro red dot is a very small and lightweight design that adds hardly any bulk to your firearm. The G43X MOS is one of the smallest optics-enhanced pistols on the market.
The gun comes with a ten round magazine and cannot accept a magazine designed for the G43. This cuts out many extended magazines for the G43. However, a company called Shield Arms makes a 15 round magazine that fits the G43X MOS and the Glock 48.
The G43x: Glock's Expanded Capacity Ccw Pistol
This gives your Glock series pistol five flavors. I have no personal experience with these magazines, so I cannot speak about their reliability, but they seem to be very popular with Glock 43X MOS and Glock 48 owners.
The Glock 43X MOS offers a much better grip than the original G43. The longer grip fills the hand better and allows the pistol to easily fit the 10 round magazine. Another big improvement is the little beaver tail that protects my hand a bit.
Glocks and I sometimes disagree as I am a victim of the constant slide of the Glock series. The Glock G43X MOS is different and offers a slight overhang that allows a good grip and protects your hand from bites.
The Glock 43X MOS is a very basic weapon. Glock has a reputation for making guns as simple as possible, and of course simple is good in a combat pistol. The 43X MOS has three safety devices, but none are manual.
The Glock 43x: Perfect Efficiency
The only thing close is the trigger safety, which will prevent the trigger from dropping without a full and straight pull. This makes things pretty simple and allows the shooter to have a gun that they can pick up at a moment's notice without much thought.
The G43X's handheld design helps with recoil and control. The handle ensures comfortable control and handling of the weapon.
It is much more comfortable for rapid fire practice and long days on the range than the standard 43. It is a must for an optically improved gun.
True grip ensures that you can hold the dot and take advantage of all the advantages that a red dot can offer you.
Glock 43x Mos 9mm Pistol: Full Review
One of the problems with the rifle is the slide lock. A good grip with the thumbs forward will keep the slide depressed and will not engage when the gun is empty.
This may be a problem with my sausage-like fingers, but it plagues every Glock I've ever shot, including the G43X (the non-MOS version).
The star of the show is of course the weapon's ability to use optics. Gun optics may seem silly to some, but renowned industry instructors have proven that they drastically improve your gun's capabilities.
A point-and-shoot weapon is faster, more accurate, and allows the shooter to easily hit targets at longer distances. The G43X MOS optics make a lot of sense.

Small arms generally have a short aiming radius, and the presence of a dot completely eliminates the sight radius problem. This allows a small pistol to be as accurate as a large rifle. Although learning how to use the red dot takes some extra practice. In the end, it is worth the investment.
Glock has also added a small Picatinny rail to their new G43X MOS model. This small Picatinny rail allows users to mount a number of devices. This includes lasers, small lights like the Olight Mini Valkyrie, or even simulators like the MantisX.
The Picatinny rail is a nice touch, and with red dots and lights becoming more and more mandatory on guns, more and more companies will use the small rails on their carry guns.
The G43X MOS is also available with most Glock upgrades for Gen 5 rifles. These include a highly visible magazine holder, smooth, grooveless design, front serrations, and a reversible magazine release.
Glock 43x Vs. P365: Which Is Better For Edc?
The front serrations are an important touch and allows for easy slide control when the gun is red dot. They have been in the rifle since the original G43X and are more important in the MOS system.
Front serrations ensure that you can control the weapon without gripping the optic. You can pick up the optic to manipulate the slide, but you'll probably smell oil off your skin. Speckle-free optics work much better.
The Glock 43X is a freak, and the MOS model is even more of a freak. The short slide combined with the compact size grip makes the rifle interesting to say the least.
The Glock 43X MOS fills the hand well and the beaver tail extension provides a great grip on the gun. This allows you to have maximum control over the weapon and keep it on target, even when firing quickly.

The original 43 beat the hell out of me and I hated it. I would start flashing a little between each shot. The Glock 43X MOS is long gone.
The iron sights are like all Glock iron sights, they are made of plastic and are chirped. Drop the red dot and replace the sights with stop height sights to get the cooperation as soon as possible.
Recoil is minimal, especially with the 115 grain load. You'll feel a little sharper with +P loadouts loaded for self-defense. This clicking is noticeable, but not uncontrollable or even painful.
It has some bounce and punch, but it's nothing like a 357
